About the Technical Assistance Program (TAP)
TAP is a program which makes technology available to qualified applicants who are deaf, hard of hearing, or speech impaired. Eligibility is based on verification of disability and residence. The level of the individual's financial participation is determined by a sliding fee scale. Devices include text telephones (TTYs), amplified handsets, Voice Carryover phones, and visual and audible signalers. Coming soon to this site will be TAP FAQs and pictures of available equipment.
